"Golf, water and views: they have it all" at this "sprawling" Addison Mizner–designed "pseudo-Italian" "oasis" from 1926, just choose your accommodations wisely, since experiences "vary depending on where you stay"; the "breathtakingly beautiful" grounds, "first-class" beach, "terrific" spa and Angela Hartnett's Cielo restaurant win praise (a branch of Morimoto is on the way); N.B. the Beach Club is closed until 2009 as it completes a total renovation.

This hotel was luxurious and charming, beautifully landscaped, and offered delicious food.
Extra spa fees.
We had a great stay - wonderful service, nice rooms, comfortable bed, lovely hotel with charm. Would highly recommend to my family and friends.

I booked the room thinking it was on the main property, they tried to give me a bungalow off the property The bungalow was nice, but too laid back and it was not identified upfront at the time of the booking. Bungalow price should have been much cheaper. ...read more

The staff was amazing, the facility top notch. When valet brought my bags up and I tipped him, he reminded me it wasn't necessary as it is included in my stay. The rooms were cozy.
